He Got Game

Written by: A. Casanova

If you have not heard of him yet, it is time to get to know him, so you do not miss your share of good looks, and a bag full of talent for your palette. The talented Seattle Washington native, Jon Meggison believes we are never too old to follow our dreams. His drive outweighs any of his obstacles because he is comfortable jugging many tasks at once as a father of three boys, model, actor, and yes, an avid basketball player. Yes, he got game!

Though he can juggle many things at once, Meggison knew focus was the key when shifting his energy from modeling to tap in on the challenging world of acting. In preparation for his new endeavor, he diligently studied and practiced his acting style to stand out and give him the edge he needed to compete.

Jon’s earnest efforts and work paid off! The Actor experienced an eventful year in 2021; first after landing his first lead role as Eric Olsen on the Amazon Prime original movie A Haunting in Ravenwood (2021) directed by Calvin McCarthy. Earlier that year his fortune began when playing a supporting role of a character named Ryan, in a feature film called Survivors Choice; led by the acclaimed Actor Eric Roberts known for movies like The Coca-Cola Kid (1985), Best of the Best (1989), The Specialist (1994), and National Security (2003). Jon added additional kudos to his good year after winning his first individual award as Best Lead Actor in the film It Takes Talent (2021), written and directed by Roleph Dubreus.

Rubbing elbows with seasoned actors has given Jon the confidence needed to continue to pursue his newfound passion. The year 2022 also proved to be another gift for Jon. In January of 2022 he booked a supporting role as Dave in the film Amends of The Father, which was led by Actor and Director Stephen Sorrentino, featuring Randy Jones from The Village people, and Criminal Minds Actor Candy Clark. Meggison found himself busy again in July of 2022 when starring as Porter Watson in the horror film Conjuring the Beyond, written and directed by Calvin McCarthy.

If the previous accolades are not enough, the actor will find himself in his glory again with the upcoming release of the thriller and horror film The Legend of Johnny Jones, produced by Angry Trolls Production (expected to release in October, 2023).  Jon will have the privilege of sharing the screen with Danny Trejo, Jake Busey, Tom Sizemore, Clifton Powell, and Robert Crayton.

So, stay tuned because this mega talent’s resume is vastly growing, and he is moving full speed ahead!
